Childhood and Early Passions

Greeicy’s early years were spent in Cali, Colombia, where she lived until the age of five. Her parents, Luis Alberto Rendón and Lucy Ceballos, then made the pivotal decision to relocate the family to Bogota. From a young age, Greeicy displayed a keen interest in the world of interpretation and music. Her parents recognized her talents and wasted no time in enrolling her in various classes, including acting, piano, flute, guitar, and singing.

The Reality Show Debut

Greeicy’s first foray into the world of entertainment was through the 2007 edition of the talent show “Factor Xs” for children. She participated as a contestant in this reality show and was mentored by the renowned singer and composer José Gaviria. Although she didn’t clinch the victory, this initial exposure would prove to be a pivotal moment in her career. In 2009, Greeicy made her television debut in the telenovela “Cuando salga el sol,” where she portrayed the character of Carolina Parra, the daughter of the central couple. She also participated in the Colombian version of “The Wonderful Years” and starred in “Tiro de gracia” and “Esmeraldas,” showcasing her versatility and range as an actress.

In 2016, Greeicy appeared in “Las Vega’s,” a Colombian adaptation of a Chilean series, and her role as Gabriela Piedrahita in the adaptation of the American series “Revenge” was highly anticipated. While the premiere was initially postponed, it was met with eager anticipation in both Argentina and Colombia upon its release.

Beyond her professional achievements, Greeicy’s personal life took center stage in December 2021 when she and her partner, Mike Bahia, announced that they were expecting their first child through a collaborative project titled “Att: Amor.” This momentous announcement added a new dimension to Greeicy’s life and career.
