A woman has revealed all on her unconventional relationship with a man she met on a sugar daddy website.
Nova met 63-year-old James over five years ago on a sugar daddy website, where she was sharing “spicy” content. James would treat the beauty to expensive jewellery and clothes, and even splashed out $400,000 [approximately £210,355] by investing in her business. Nova Hawthorne, 29, from Melbourne, Australia, says she that while she initially “fell in love with his money”, she soon “fell in love with him”.
While the basis of their relationship was initially strictly an arrangement, not before long the pair, who live in Melbourne, Australia, fell in love. “I liked him as a person, not just a sugar daddy,” said Nova told YouTube’s Love Don’t Judge. But Nova says she is often “mistaken for an escort” when the couple go out on dates together and the couple, who live in Melbourne, Australia.
Speaking about his past dating life, James confessed: “I had a number of sugar babies before me and Nova met – I just find it a straight forward way of meeting people. Nova was pretty quickly a soulmate. It was a matter of weeks before we graduated from sugar-ing to boyfriend and girlfriend.”
Nova said: “Pretty quickly, it just started to feel like two people who like each other, living together, who have genuine affection toward one another. And one day I said to him, ‘I think I really do love you’ and he said: ‘I was never going to say it first. It always had to come from you,'” the Daily Star previously reported.
However, he admitted that their public appearances often turn heads as people “stop and stare” and “take photographs” Nova, who boasts over 45,000 Instagram followers, enjoys the attention, adding: “I find it exciting when we are going out together as I know people are going to look. I’ll make myself look extra nice or wear a really short skirt or a little dress – so if people are looking that’s something to look at.”
The couple often face “misconceptions” about their relationship, with many doubting its authenticity. Nova addressed the sceptics: “The biggest one is that it is not a real relationship – that James is providing me with finance and I am providing the sugar in return.” James adde: “Most of the doubts have been about if there is a genuine affection there or whether it was just for money,”.
Before becoming a live streaming star, Nova was pursuing a master’s degree in social work. She now earns roughly £157 an hour and over £80,000 a year, as she revealed on TikTok.
The pornstar and Only Fans creator revealed that her friends, who are familiar with sugar daddy websites, were initially sceptical about her relationship with James, suspecting she was after his wealth. Her family also expressed concerns about the true motives behind their union, given the circumstances of their meeting. But she says her relationship with James is “authentic” and “genuine”.
