I recently went through a period where I wasn’t working out much because I had just gotten a puppy. I was running around like crazy just figuring out how to function.”

Amanda, who is vegan, highlights the importance of diversifying meals. “You don’t want to eat the same things every single day,” she stresses. “It is a little bit more work being a vegan, but it’s important to diversify your diet to get all the necessary vitamins and avoid food allergies, especially in children.”

“I know we all stick to our favorite dishes, but food is one of the most important things we can invest in. It’s our health and enjoyment. There are a million different healthy and simple recipes online,” Amanda adds. Her go-to kitchen hack is finding easy, five-ingredient recipes using pantry staples like lentils and spinach. She also uses a meal delivery service, Trifecta, for vegan meal options.
