Tori Spelling recently showcased her transformed figure at Malibu Beach, following her candid admission about using weight loss medications. The 51-year-old “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum looked radiant in a neon green bikini, highlighting her commitment to fitness after the birth of her youngest child.
On a sunny Tuesday, Spelling was seen enjoying a beach day in Malibu, California, wearing a neon green string bikini that accentuated her toned physique. The swimwear, adorned with hip piercings, was complemented by a gold necklace and a shimmering body chain, adding a touch of elegance to her beach look.
Spelling’s beach outing included her friend Laura Rugetti, with whom she spent over two hours by the shore. After taking a refreshing dip in the ocean, Spelling was seen relaxing on a towel next to Rugetti, who wore a stylish zebra print one-piece swimsuit. The pair appeared to be enjoying their time together, with Spelling looking relaxed and at ease.
In April, Spelling openly discussed her weight loss journey on her “Misspelling” podcast, revealing that she used medications like Ozempic and Mounjaro to help shed the baby weight she struggled to lose after the birth of her son, Beau, in 2017. “I don’t feel ashamed saying that. I couldn’t lose the baby weight,” Spelling candidly shared. She explained that while Ozempic did not yield the desired results, Mounjaro proved effective.
The actress has never weighed more than 120 pounds in her lifetime, but after Beau’s birth, she found herself at 160 pounds. Spelling noted that her age played a significant role in her difficulty losing the weight, a challenge she hadn’t faced after her previous pregnancies. She was 44 when she gave birth to Beau, her fifth child with estranged husband Dean McDermott.
In addition to Beau, now six, Spelling and McDermott share four other children: Liam, 17, Stella, 16, Hattie, 12, and Finn, 11. McDermott also has a son, Jack, from his previous marriage to Mary Jo Eustace.
During her beach outing, Spelling demonstrated her active lifestyle, engaging in activities like swimming and sunbathing. She paired her beach attire with denim shorts when she was done tanning, protecting her eyes with stylish shades while Rugetti opted for a wide-brimmed hat. The friends showed off their long legs as they relaxed, lifting them playfully in the air.
Spelling’s recent focus on her health and well-being comes amid significant personal changes. Earlier this year, she confirmed her separation from McDermott, filing for divorce in March after 18 years of marriage. The couple’s split has been accompanied by McDermott’s public journey towards sobriety. On Monday, McDermott celebrated one year of sobriety, sharing an encouraging message on social media. “If you’re struggling with addiction, just surrender and ask for help,” he wrote. “We’re here waiting for you, to love you, until you love yourself. A beautiful life awaits you. Just reach out your hand.”
McDermott’s struggles with addiction had previously strained their marriage. In a candid interview with the Daily Mail in November 2023, he revealed that his battle with alcohol played a major role in their separation. “Alcohol made me feel good enough. I started feeling good enough until it got to a point where it didn’t –– it ended up in isolation,” he explained. “That’s what it led to and that’s what led to the brokenness and to what happened between me and Tori. I couldn’t do it anymore. I couldn’t live that life anymore.”
As Spelling continues to navigate her new chapter, she remains focused on her health and her children. Her commitment to her fitness journey and candidness about the challenges she faced serve as an inspiration to many. Despite the personal and familial hurdles, Spelling’s resolve to maintain a positive outlook and dedication to her well-being is evident, making her a resilient figure in the public eye.
